I would like to suggest a forum for security related discussion. Thoughts?

-Chris

I definitely don't see a need. We've got enough forums already, and I can't imagine a security forum drawing enough traffic to make it worthwhile.

I would have to disagree. Even though viruses are not a big concern for us, cyber-fraud and phishing and fraud are. I could see a forum on this subject drawing an audience.

Please keep in mind viruses are only a VERY small part of security... there is much more to it than that.

Yeah, this sounds like something that merits, at most, a couple of guides. Enabling the firewall, turning on WPA for wireless networks, etc.

I don't think it's a bad idea, especially as Windows becomes more and more a part of the Mac (and as the Mac continue to increase its market share).

Could just be, though, that I want to put all the people who scream "Virus!" in a room where they can scream "Virus!" at each other instead of at me ...

Actually, that's not a bad idea, and a pretty funny visual image. :)
