I just wondered what exactley i should be worried about under OSX and what i shouldnt.

I just had a wierd experience where all the settings (Keys) for Expose seemed to have been set to none. I never touched it - and i dont recall doing anything that would have changed it. Was working fine then one moment.. bang!.. F9/F10 ect arent doing anything but giving me a 'ding' sound.

I downloaded some trailers/movie clips in BitTorrent and some of the .mov seemed to open up a website from Quicktime! Which didnt go to a site related to the movie (yes some dodgy porn sites no the less) but  i was worried that a movie could open a website from within quicktime just by running it.

So if im correct, no virus's (so far) right? Firewall (I have a router which has it on by default i think - but my IP is dynamic anyways so its never the same when i start the computer up) should stop any potential treats in that area (though OSX has no open ports and such by default like XP which says "HELLO WORLD! IM HERE!" when you logon.) ummm what about web exploits? though the ones i know of download something or alter something.. windows related.

I just see conflicting news items. "Mac users need to wakeup to security" and then others saying all is great and wonderful.

If you don't want to worry about security problems, don't surf the net from your mac!

There is no OS that is 100% un-hackable.
