Hi

My dad is fairly OSX and tech illiterate. My brother somehow, in trying to help him with his old SBCGlobal email migration, managed to send him to a bogus phishing page, and somehow I think he fell for something along the lines of the

Where, someone he called got him to approve a remote access to something like LogMeIn, and they tried to sell him something.

I'm having to address the mess tomorrow, and I'm thinking about the clean up.

I'm assuming that whatever remote access session he had going would be terminated, and that restarting the computer and going offline for a bit would make sure of this.

Do i need to worry about malware or keyloggers having been put on by this session? Or persistent remote access?

Other than changing user and all web login passwords, email passwords, is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks
