Security Update will not install

Security Update2008-006PPC will not install on imac g5 with OS X 10.4.11

I have it downloaded to my desktop and can not complete the install. It gets to 75% installed and then quits. How do I get this off of my imac so as to try installing from scratch from Software Update? Please assist. Thank you.
