I run the Security-Update on El Capitan 2017-02. After finishing the restart didn't work properly. So after a dozen of minutes I had to restart again (press on-button for 3 sec).
And now my main-User is nearly not working at all. It is work so slow, that it takes 30 sec for the Spotlight window to pop up. The download window will open after 2 minutes and it'll take have an hour until one after the other the download-items appear.
I'm unable to use any application (after 1 minute a prom says: your app may be damaged or incomplete) And after that the icon will change to a standard - application icon.
I can change to the second user on the same machine - and there everything works fine. I'm using this account now, (i can't use Safari at the main user).
What I did so far.
• disk utility from the second user - no change
• disk Utility after starting in recovery mode - no change
• Start up in safe mode - no change
• SMC reset - no change
• Download Update 2017-02 again and install it (from the second user) - no change
• Trying to replace all Date in /user1/library (besides Mail (30GB) and App-support (35 GB) - won't work. When logged in to the main user it'll refuse to change System date. When logged in to the second use I won't get the permissions.
What can help?
• Using Combo-Update 10.11.6 (downloading at the moment)?
• Replacing all data at the whole partition from TimeMachine Backup, wenn in recovery mode. But these are 1,9 TB! Tons of data with video, pic, application - which seems for sure to be not affected. I didn't find there a possibility to replace only some folders of only one user, when in Recovery - Mode. (I was trying with second user, bud stuck with permissions)
