Went into the Apple Store and stumped them. While on vacation in Europe, I traveled light with iPad (and iPhone) only. Import photos with SD card was no problem with prior trip as using Nikon with 2 SD cards, shot RAW + JPG and directed them to their dedicated card...importing only the JPG card. This year used a Sony with only 1 SD card. Imported and suddenly have duplicates and all memory used up on the iPad. Appears imported both RAW and JPG versions to the iPad. Easy to delete photos but can't find the file name anywhere to identify the .acr and .jpg files to know which one (the .acr file) to delete. A few of them I actually have 3 duplicates as looking for file manager tried "Batch Re-Sizer" where I could identify the file name and reduced from original 6000 pixels wide to a more iPad/web appropriate 1500 pixels wide. It didn't replace, but created a copy. Now I have 3 identical photos without a clue which one is which.

The iPad won't show as a device in Finder on a Mac, but on Windows will show as a drive. Did find the photos when viewing on Windows, but failed to show the RAW files and on the 6 I downsized, only showed 1 jpg file rather than 2.

Any ideas on how to resolve?
