Granted I haven't used my iPhone as much as normal in the last few days due to being very busy with work but I have been pretty impressed. I took my phone of charge at 8:00am this morning and its currently 4:11 pm and the phone is still at 98%. I have been working today so I have only really checked a few notifications, but a decrease of 2% seems really good. I will of course drain that down a good bit throughout the evening.

The day before yesterday was another light use day and the phone was still at 75% when I went to bed so I decided not to put it on charge. Throughout yesterday I used it, but not heavily and at bedtime (11:30pm) it was still at 20%.

Obviously one of the selling points of the new phones was the increased battery capacity, and its good to see it in effect in the real world.

Anyone else been pleased with their 11 or 11 Pro? Anyone had poor battery performance?

Yep, I’m more than happy with the battery life on my 5.8” Pro.

Just come home from driving (work) all day so 6:30am until 4:30pm streaming podcasts on 4G almost non- stop, texting and emails as well as checking Facebook and other social media apps. Battery is at 76%.

My screen time is low this week only because I don’t have time to use phone much during week hours but the battery has like 50-60% most nights when going bed

The 5.8 pro is the model that benefited the most for the 2019 year.
iPhone XS Max has 8-10 hours real time battery. Now it’s true 12-14 hours

iPhone XR was already 10-11 hours. Now u can get close to 12 hours

iPhone X/xs 5.8 had piss poor 6-7 hours real time battery on screen time. May be lucky to make it to 5pm for heavy users. But most of the time need to recharge it by 3pm. We are talking heavy users here.

Exactly why I skipped XS and went to 11 Pro (not Max) this time, very happy with improved battery!

I am on Pro Max and the battery life is much improved over my old Xs which was getting in the 20’s too much lately. I am in 60’s with my new Pro Max

Love the battery life on the pro max. Even if I forget to charge my phone overnight, I have plenty of battery life left.

hate to burst your bubble but battery is not improved try play fortnight record 4k it not last 3hours

I don’t want to keep beating a dead horse but in the other threads I’ve noted there is some problems with the iPhone 11 Pro model I bought. It is eerily similar to most reports about the same battery drain issues. I’m actually surprised my 11 pro did not even come close to lasting as long as my iphone 11 128gb model! The pro max one my spouse has is so legit - not even 1% drain in over 40 minutes of having 1/4 screen brightness on displaying a static web page. My iphone 11 pro drained batter just from displaying a static webpage at near 0% brightness for less than 10 minutes!

You haven't burst any bubble. I play video games on dedicated games consoles, and even then I don't play Fortnite. Sorry that's not working out for you.

I’m always amazed at hearing about how good others battery life is. I’m not a heavy user by any means and almost all of my apple products have below average battery life. There always seems to be weird issues with my Apple ID ever since I’ve set it up and constantly asking for password and such. Super annoying. I’m sure there is some app that drains my battery but nothing registers in the battery app.
My 11 pro has slightly better battery life vs my xs max but I’m chalking it up to just being a new device. Seems about that year mark it always goes to crap. Just my experience

How good/bad is the cellular coverage in the places you spend the most time? At home, I get very little idle battery drain. At work, my XS was losing 4% an hour due to constantly switching between 3G and very weak 4G. I could only stem it by turning 4G off.

Not had a chance to test my Pro Max yet as I’ve been on holiday since I got it.
