Seeking help with NoSTalgia 1.42 and Hatari

Downloaded NoSTalgia 1.42 and Hatari the Atari ST emulators for the Mac.

NoSTalgia opens and runs OK but not into the Atari desktop, it opens into a screen
showing two disk drive windows.

Does anybody know if I can set this to open into the Atari desktop ?

Hatari - Any guide for at all would be good.
