Seeking opinons on Canon Pixma MP970

I am considering either the Canon Pixma MP970 or MP610 all in one printer for my iMac G4. I would appreciate opinions from those who have one of these printers. Thanks!

I have the MP970, love it - need to work out some issues with Aperture but, that's about it..

Scanning Troubles

Hi, I have not long ago purchased the above printer. I am having trouble trying to scan to the computer. I have followed al the instructions and when it gets up to 'processing, please wait momentarily' then I wait for quite a while then it goes back to 'Scan document, place document on platen glass and press ^(black n white button), which is the step prior. Please I need HELP!!! TIA
