Seeking real world reviews of MCE OptiBay

I am thinking of getting one. Anyone here is using it and your thoughts on it. I read that their customer service sucks. True?

Has anyone tried using a drive caddy for a different make (HP, Fujitsu, Lenovo,etc...) in place of the the Optibay? While researching I found a page that confirmed that one of the cheap eBay drive caddies did indeed work in place of the optical drive. $30 vs $130 is a big difference for something that does the same thing. I'm not sure which one to order, so I'll probably end up going with the Optibay anyways just to save the headache of trail and error.
