iPod touch seem to have deleted my apps

There are a couple language apps and some reading apps that are the only ones that are really important, but I seem to have deleted them in the last format. I don't know how I did, but I can't find them. Does Apple make me rebuy these apps now?

no youll say buy but will say you have already purchased this app do you want to download it for free. The app is not stored on your idevice it is stored on your account
