Now my phone does the whole reception drop issue when i touch across the antennas in the bottom left and if i'm on the phone after about a minute the call will drop. but today i noticed something else...while on a call my signal was down to 1 bar and my hand was not near the line it was held like jobs suggests. but the phone seems to get very warm when talking on it so could this heat affect the signal? my call didn't drop out but the signal was very low and as soon as i hung up and set my phone down, boom, all the bars came back.

i know i know, another one of these threads, but i haven't seen any post about the signal dropping while on the phone and not touching the bottom left.

Yep, seeing these exact issues. Calls seem to drop a minute or so in, regardless of where my hands are or signal strength. I'm waiting a few days, if no fix is announced then I will try an exchange or return. I love the phone, but the dropped calls are what is killing me.

Do your phones get hot on the back?

maybe they have an error in the logic to search for the best channel for the call and then it keeps searching causing signal to drop and phone to heat up. (i could be wrong too, haha)

Mine actually does get hot sometimes. I'm hoping it is all just bugs in the new software.
