Segway HT

Hey. The other day I rented a Segway for an hour and I was wondering if any other MacRumors members actually owned one of these? Too bad they cost between $4000-$5000. Do you guys that have one (if any) actually use it enough to get your moneys-worth? Also wondering what you guys thought of these.

Ahh. I love those so much. They look so cool, though I've never ridden in one. Oh well. Was it fun?

Yeah, they were awesome. You should try it sometime. I couldn't grasp the concept that if the handlebars start pushing into your chest it means slow down. It really only took a good 5 minutes to be rolling along like a pro. It was soooo fun too. I'm on vacation right now and the place we rented them was like a big open park with a lake in the middle. But yeah, I am so glad I tried them.
