man i had this idea the other day and thought it would be a fun coding project but thought it would never work kinda cool though.
Doesn't work for my rev. D powerbook. Says "no sms detected on this machine". I know there is one, and am watching the Acme Level Widget acting up as I type....

i don't believe it requires any 'hacking' as its on the USB bus if you have a program that can make use of a webcam it'll find it just fine.

This could be linked to some way that the programmer has tried to check if a machine has a SMS sensor, http://semaja2.net/archives/30 try the guide and see if it works then
perhaps he has a perfectly working computer already and doesn't need to spend a few grand just to get an iSightRokem said:thats easy just buy a mb or mbp...
