Selecting specific text in safari

when apple demoed copy/paste in safari, they only showed selecting the whole paragraph of text, and didn't show selecting text like in mail or notes. according to this picture from

it is possible.

anyone who has loaded the firmware on their device, can you explain how this would work?

You just hold down your finger for one second and the paragraph will be selected in its entirety. You can resize the paragraph selection box up/down/left/right by dragging on one of the four blue resize dots that appear. Alternately, you can drag one of the dots into the paragraph and then release it, which will bring up the 'traditional' selection tool which can be resized to accommodate any number of characters or words.

Yeah, I've got it running on both my iPhone 3G and my 2G touch. So far so good.
