iPhone 12 Pro Selective Data Transfer

I haven’t done a data transfer in over 3 years....has apples tools become any better over the past few years in terms of data transfer?

Is it still either start as a fresh phone or full transfer between phones? I want to do something in between (ie start with a fresh phone but select certain parts to transfer over like basic settings, iMessages, and camera roll?

If there is not a new built in way to do this any suggestions to do something similar?

Usually, we can use iTunes or iCould backup to help us transfer data between iPhones. But if you want to select certain data to transfer, the best choice is phone transfer softwares. Unfortunately, most such softwares are not free to use. Usually we can get a free one from giveaway activity. Good luck to you.
