I just had a brain fart and can no longer remember how to do a screenshot of a window, the dock, and icon, etc. I know you can highlight an area with command shift 4 but how do you select an entire window?

Thanks!

Assuming the first part of your name means the same as the second part of mine: Whatever you do, take care of your shoes.

If it does not, sorry for the confusion. :)

Hope you got your screen shot issue worked out.

The shift+command+4 shortcut is great, but if you want to have more control over the size and format of your screenshot, or add a note, a phrase or something else, store it online for free, upload it directly to your Flickr account, or share it with friends, than you should give Skitch a try!

Watch the demo at the Skitch website for more details!
