Is shutting down saves battery life over sleep mode, is there only a negligible difference ?

If you are going to not use an iPad for an extended period of time, like more than a few days, then turning it off completely will keep the battery from draining -- I think it was rated to last a month in sleep mode. So if you put iPad to sleep and come back in two weeks, the battery would be at around 50%, if you turn it off completely, I think in two weeks you'll have more charge left than just 50%. In regular use, the difference is negligible, there's no need to turn it off.
