MAC OS X 10.5.8
For some reason, I can connect to the internet using Ethernet when Im connect to a router or directly to the cable modem, but when my roommate (she has a dell) plugs into the router, I get a Self-Assigned IP Address and cant connect and she can connect just fine.
We have tried restarting the router and the modem but the results are still the same. It's only while I am here at school that I am having a problem, at my dads with the same set up I can just plug-in and go. I have no problems connecting to wifi and this problem has only started just a few days ago.
I would really appreciate anyones help!
