Self-Assigned IP when I USB and Bluetooth tether

Hey,

I have been having the same problem since I first upgraded my 3G to 3.0. Everytime I try to tether my phone to my MBP, I get a Self-Assigned IP (169.254.....) and I can't use the Internet.

This happens on USB and Bluetooth.

I have not jailbroken my phone either.

I've searched the forums and google and found other people with the same problem, but no clear solutions. Can anyone help?

I'm on Rogers with the 6gb plan btw.
