Self extracting file

Hello,

I'm new to Mac and looking for some advice. I was just given a Macbook Pro at work as we need to do some testing and I'm looking on how to create a self-extracting install file that will automatically put in the configurations I supplied for this application.

I can easily do this in Windows with IExpress, but looking for a way to do it in Mac. I'm running OSX Lion if that makes any difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You may have to create an installer, since the files you want to have extracted, need access to system folders, thus entering the admin password is required.
