Hello, it has happened twice in a week that my rMBP suddenly rebooted itself. What could be the possible causes? Is it time to upgrade to the latest OS? I am using 10.9.5.

I had this. You can try resetting the PRAM (worked for a while for me), but for me Apple eventually replaced the motherboard after testing. I doubt the OS has anything to do with it.

Sometimes it also does not accept inputs from the keyboard.

You are still on warranty so you should get your issues looked at. A broken keyboard on a Mac this new is strange.
