Sell CD iMac and purchase C2D Black Macbook?

I have had a 17'' Core Duo iMac for about 6 months, I have been very pleased with it. I maxed it out with a 250 GB HD and 2GB RAM.

Sometimes however, I am on the go and I just wish that I had a computer with me. I knew from about a month and a half after my iMac purchase, that I wanted laptop instead, but I had never brought up interest to do so. Now that the C2D Macbooks are out, this has brought up that interest once again.

Should I sell my iMac to then purchase a Macbook?

How much do you think is a reasonable price to sell my 17'' CD iMac for?

Has there been any problems with the C2D Macbooks as of yet?

well i bought my 17" CD imac for 699, w/out your upgrades of course, but i'd add like 200 bucks for your upgrades so you're looking at 900-1000. good luck i'm in the market for a MB aswell right now so I feel you.

Thanks for the selling price range. I'll look into selling this on Amazon most likely as they don't charge like eBay does.
