Sell iMac now or later?

So, looks like a new iMac is coming out soon. I have a maxed out 2.8ghz iMac extreme bought shortly after the alu iMacs were released two years ago. I can't believe they are releasing a new one so soon but needless to say, I will be upgrading.

However, I'm not sure what the resell value of my iMac will be after the new ones come out. At the moment, this goes for around £1000 on ebay. If I wait until I get the new one before selling, I'm guessing I would get less. But, if I sell now, I'll be macless for an unknown amount of time.

Any ideas? Not sure how much the value of my imac would drop if at all?

You would get more for it before the new ones come out as when that happens there will be a lot more people selling theirs to upgrade to the latest and greatest. Plus yours would be an extra generation older. I wouldn't want you to be computer-less though as its not certain that this is the month for the refresh. Also consider it maybe right at the end of the month, november or even not until early next year. As for how much it will drop im not sure.
