I have a 2011 MacBook Pro, 2.2 GHz with a 128 GB OWC Mercury SSD, 8 GB of ram, and a 750 GB HDD in place of the optical drive. One day, the computer overheated and now the GPU is feeling the hurt. It will turn on, but there a green lines and visual errors sporadically. This brings me to the question: do you guys think it would more beneficial to sell this computer as-is as a whole, or part-by-part?

I have looked around a bit, but can't find a concrete answer.

No I've always replaced computers about annually, so AppleCare was never an issue. I knew I was going to do the optibay swap on this so it really wasn't worth it.
