Ok well my battery in my macbook is toast, macworld is around the corner and im ready for a new macbook, so im planning on selling my old one on ebay, would I get more money if I sell it, or sell the parts?

Why not just buy a new battery for yourself? I think you could replace the battery and sell it for the most value, though I don't see why you need to sell it.

He doesn't want a new battery, he wants a new computer.

Sell it completely, unless you want 20 different auctions for 20 different pieces.

thing is I want a new computer, and I like taking stuff apart, so either way it doesn't matter, I just want to know what would bring me more money.

Its a core duo, not a core 2 duo, I got it 2 weeks after the first macbook came out

Have you complained to apple about this yet? Sometimes it works. Hey it's worth a shot...
