Hey, so today I went to the Apple Store to get my ipod checked out for two reasons. First, there was dust under the screen. The genius tried but wasn't able to fix it. Then there was my iffy WiFi (my dad's ipod touch get reception where mine doesn't). The genius said he would get me a replacement ipod, but that he didn't have any in stock. Since I'll be getting it within the week, I have a few questions.

1) Do the replacement iPods come in a case? Are they refurbished or new?

2) The iPod touch 3G should be coming out soon, right? Would it make sense to sell the replacement on eBay to get money for the new one?

3) Is it worth trying to get a next-gen iPod, or should I skip all the trouble?

Thanks for the help,
Muncher
