Hey,

I have a T-Mobile iPad Air I received as a gift last year and I wanted to sell it. The question is: is the iPad locked? My brother bought it for me to build his credit but we have not finished paying it off. I plan on paying it off once I sell it. Is it possible to sell it this way? Are iPads unlocked?

I want an iPad Air 2, but I have no use for LTE since I have an iPhone and can easily tether.

I've looked online but I get mixed replies. If anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.

all the iPad airs are all the same. they can be used on any carrier. you just need the correct sim card

the exception is sprint.

however, sprint has activated non sprint iPads in the past if you have the original receipt and you nag them
