In the UK I sold mine to MusicMagpie. I don’t know if they operate in other countries but the service was good and payment is quick. I used to use eBay but found the charges and the general hassle weren’t worth it

Best site to sell used Apple Watch? Pros/cons? Is it safe?
I've sold them on EBay, and I think it was MaxBack.

Make sure there's no shenanigans on EBay. In other words, follow the EBay procedures exactly, get good photos, don't mess around if someone tries to change an address or anything like that. EBay definitely favors the buyer and the fees are pretty high, more than 10% when everything is said and done.

People seem to like Swappa as well but I've never tried them. I may this time as, for whatever reason, the S6 hurts my wrist. I suspect it's the SS where it's weight causes the watch to slip a bit more, causing me to tighten it more, causing nerve pain.

Swappa. It’s more geared towards ‘tech products‘ and you likely will have a much lower probability of dealing with fraud, then you would eBay. By all means, I Do not recommend eBay for multiple reasons, the potential for fraud is much higher, the associated fees through eBay and PayPal, and market saturation is much higher on eBay with Apple Watches.

That said, if you really want to maximize your profit, I wouldn’t sell online at all. I would try to sell locally if you have that opportunity, cash in hand, eliminate fraud and no selling fees associated. You might deal with the unknown buyer and haggling, but there is trade offs for either method you choose.

Good to know about the fit of the SS 6. I have a SS 4 and never had issues. I have used both the SS band and sport bands. I wonder if the form factor is different to accommodate the pulse ox. I have a SS 6 order on the way now with a sport band. I did not like the newer, unadjustable silicone bands since I change the tightness based on my activity. When I looked up the dimensions before, I think some aspects were actually larger on the SS 6 vs the SS 4 (don't quote me on that part).

It's honestly, weird. I've tried to look at photos to see if there's a difference between the S5 and S6 form factor but it doesn't look like it. The sensor is definitely different but physically it looks the same. This isn't radiation or anything weird, it's the watch digging into the wrist, something prior versions didn't do.

So my guess is the weight of the SS is just enough to make me tighten it one more notch than an aluminum.

Interesting.... They do not list the Apple Watch series 4 GPS + Cellular 44mm Black Stainless Steel
in other words, you can’t get a price.

Been selling Apple products on ebay for 15 years - never a issue as long as you follow the guidelines - I tend to keep ALL the packaging for everything I buy as it shows the buyer you care about the product and how its kept... Take a ton of photos and describe condition etc accurately like average, good or pristine. I am always happy for people to collect which also shows your a "proper" seller and make sure any photos are personal to you and not just site screen grabs.

I always have the original receipts and emails for them too for added peace of mind. Try and be the best one in terms of pictures and description and it should go fine.

I tend to be wary of newbie buyers or ones without much feedback but if they have paid via PayPal then really things cant go too wrong. Dont respond to buyers trying to buy outside ebay and reply promptly to any queries they might have.

I also for my own peace of mine always take video of the item working before I mail it out.

Just sold three expensive tech items on ebay this week with zero issue following the above...

I also buy ALL my 2nd hand apple products there but only generally from POWER SELLERs - my cMP came from there 9 years ago for a grand off list price and typing on it as we speak :)

Ebay. It's where I sell all my used watches. Get decent prices most times. Follow ebay's rules and you will be fine.

Sometimes models are strangely missing. I guess it’s whether they believe they can sell them. it’s the same with phones. Mazumamobile will give you £130 if it’s in good condition

Minor quibble:

The sport bands are not silicone, not even close. They are fluoroelastomer, totally different type of material in terms of strength, pliability and they don’t break down the way silicone does.
