I'm going to be selling my GF's 16GB iPhone 3G that was replaced about 4 months ago. It still has 3.1.3 & about 6 months left of AppleCare. Would it be more valuable keeping 3.1.3, or upgrading to 4.1? With all of the articles I've read with issues associated with 4.0+ on the 3G, I kept the older OS on it.

Thanks...

I've upgraded mine to 4.1 and it is a lot better than 4.0x. It still does suffer from random slowdowns requiring a hard reboot though. Keep 3.1.3 on it then the purchaser can make an (easier) choice on which to keep. :)
