Selling a factory sealed iPhone 5 on ebay..

I think I'm going to sell my factory sealed iPhone 5 that I'm going to purchase today. I was eligible for an upgrade and trying to make a few bucks. Can someone help me on the process...

1. I sell the phone on ebay
2 Someone buys it and then I ship it to them...
3. What's next? Can't they start using the SIM card associated with that line?
4. Whose line does it actually get activated under?

Before I leave the store should I have them set up a new IMEI number with the phone I want to use?

You need to call AT&T and make sure they delete the information about your SIM migration this will leave your current SIM intact and free the new one for any buyer.

If you dont, when the buyer activates the new SIM it will deactivate your current one and the phone will be on your account as if you upgraded.

Also, selling the phone will not undo your 2 yr new commitment on the phone.

This. Also, craigslist will be the fastest route and you will not pay ebay fees.

Just activate the iphone before selling it

then just take out the sim card and ship th phone with no sim and tell them to unlock it using the unlock services on ebay
