how apple still sells a mbp m2 with the old design and doesnt include the notch is beyond me .

how am i supposed to buy a laptop that has no notch in 2022 ? i'd look ridiculous !

they make a new mbp with the new chip but don't give it the most important thing : the notch. how in the hell do they expect people to buy such a thing ,seriously. c'mon apple

I agree. I was in Starbucks the other day and everybody was staring at some dude with a M2 MBA.

Nobody was paying attention to me in Starbucks because my M2 MBP doesn’t have a notch.

I look like a peasant who is still using an old 13” MBP. How can Apple do this to me?

Well at least they didn't mock you .i was in the park the other day ,reading some stuff on my Mac .all of a sudden ,3 guys come to me and start insulting me ,just because they had a Mac with a notch and i didn't .
Then ,they took rotten tomatoes out of their bags and started to throw em at me .
Even the police offer laughed at me when I showed him the evidence (my bezeled Mac bleeding tomato juice )
This has to stop

You should return for a whole bunch of reasons, the notch being the least of its offenses

I didn't see myself getting this one - originally had a 14" M1 Pro which was overkill, so I sold it to pocket some cash, and this thing was under $1200 open box at Best Buy, where I also got AppleCare+ for no extra cost (totaltech membership). So I like it and it's staying for a while! :)

Now if I had to pay MSRP, I would have went with the M2 Air, which I did also try out for a week before finding this deal. But it just made more sense to go with this vs paying the same/more for the base Air with lower specs.

I mean if it were up to me I'd get the MBp m1 (m1 being cooler ,more efficient , and base ssd is twice as fast ) .Apple priced the m2 mbp 150 euros more here btw

Still the mbp m2 is a good choice .lighter than a 14 ,MUCH better battery ,cooler I think ,better efficiency cores ,Touch Bar,more ergonomic ,for 1200 with ac+ u defo made a great purchase
