I am selling my Macbook. I have a potential buyer that I am meeting in a public place at our school's library. How should I protect myself from getting scammed? Would asking for money orders be best? Wouldn't a check need to wait to confirm funds? Any tips on selling and being safe? I am going to format my harddrive twice prior to transfer of Macbook. Thanks guys for all of the knowledge that I have gained this past year. I am upgrading to a fully specced Macbook C2D.

If you are meeting them in person, why not just ask for cash, then you won't have to worry about getting scammed.
