Selling an old Mac, device still showing on Apple Support Profile

Hi all - followed the instructions here:

The computer boots to the welcome screen, and I no longer see the device in Find My Devices, but when I log in to the Apple Support profile page (https://mysupport.apple.com), I still see the old Mac listed there.

Is that normal until someone else links the device to their Apple ID?

Just want to make sure I did everything right before shipping the device off.

Ahh thank you so much, this did the trick.

iOS devices immediately remove themselves from the list but Macs don't. Really appreciate it!
