I know this is mainly for buying advice but:

I have a 2007 macbook A1181.
Yes it is old and not expecting the world for it.

I have cleaned it inside and out, even new CPU/GPU paste.
has 3GB ram and a 2.16GHz CPU.
It is stuck on 10.7.5
Battery ok with about hour and half use out of it.
Genuine charger too.

I have tried it on few local apple facebook selling pages.

So far only interested parties want know if it will talk with their iPhone X via iTunes.

If you buy an iPhone X why would you want buy an really old MacBook to go with it!

I have listed it for £50 or offers.
Seen these sell for more on ebay but I want to sell it fairly quickly just taking up space and my fiancee is not happy with lots laptops around lol.

Is £50 asking too much?
I have said it is no longer supported by apple and no ongoing updates.

50£ is definitely not too much. Hell, my G3 cost me more than 50 quid. My G4 cost me just around that.

Albeit not for too much longer, it's still quite usable I'd think

Thanks.

I got a top of line, last model iBook G4 I'm going to try ebay £30 plus shipping.
the G4 also has a spares 900MHz G4 machine (incomplete)

the MacBook works well as does it's optical drive.
I'd hate send to recycle centre, but these old machines may well end up there in end.
