Selling Apple Watch before new one comes out - what do I need to do?

Hello,

I’m thinking of selling my series 2 Watch this week in anticipation of the new Apple Watch.
So I may be Apple Watch less for a few weeks.

In order to keep my settings/data, is there anything I should do before I sell my current one? Do I just need to back up once and then set up with the back up when I get the new one?

Just unpair and your stings will be saved. Then repair to your phone when you get your new watch

In addition, make sure you remove the Apple Watch from your iCloud account.
