Selling for parts, harddrive and personal safety?

The display on my MacBook broke, so I'm going to sell it for parts. However, since I wasn't able to wipe the computer because of the broken screen, I just removed the harddrive. Is all my personal goodies locked away, or does some stay on the computer?
