Selling G4 Dual 867 MDD - with or without silent fan?

So my G4 is not starting up and I am pretty certain it is the power supply. I still have the silent PSU and fan that Apple offered a few years ago in the box and untouched. I was going to sell it by itself and then sell off my G4 at the same time until I realized its problem.

Would it be smarter to sell the silent PSU/fan by itself or install them in the machine to get it working and sell the G4 with the upgraded parts. Are people even buying the MDD G4s anymore?

I'd install the revised PSU and silent fan to get a working MDD. It's a nice machine for the nostalgia factor.

Yeah, that's what I think I will be doing. It'll be a nice machine for someone that can use it. Since having my kids, all of my activity has been with my MBP. That machine just needs some love and attention. Kinda like my dog when he wants to play. haha

I use MDD PM g4 as server in a storage room. Noise isn't a factor, but for some people it might.

I would list them.

Powermac: $x
Powermac with silent fan installed: $x
Silent fan only: $x

Then don't do anything until you have a buyer who shows you the money.
