Selling iBook

If/when I sell my iBook, is there anything special I should do with my iBook before selling it? Is there some way that I can "unregister" with Apple?

I can just imagine the person I sell this to using it for an international bank heist and leaving it at the scene of the crime, and having my name still listed as the owner (through the serial number maybe?)

After you sell it, either you or he purchaser needs to re-register the unit through AppleCare by sending the serial number along with a bill of sale.
