So I want to sell my iPhone on ebay with version 2.0 pre-installed.

Is this possible to do with my information wiped, or does the iPhone need to be restored to factory condition?

I am also getting the 3G tomorrow, will my 2G lock (as in, "plug in and start iTunes to activate" screen) upon the 3G being activated at the store?
