With the new iPhone coming out tomorrow, I'm planning on selling my 3G. I've got a few questions.

What can I expect to get for it if I sell it jailbroken and unlocked?
My phone is a refurbished replacement unit for my first iPhone, should I mention that its refurbished in the auction?

Well I've dedicated the past about month of my life trying to pick one up at a a steal and I can come to the conclusion that at minimum, a proper seller will make about 150-180 up to around $400-$500 if its unlocked/jailbroken. (idk why thats so glorified tho, both processes are simple and quick).

Mentioning it as refurbished is up to you. I personally would rather see "Refurbished" than "Used" most times though. Ebay shouldn't have a problem and your buyer shouldn't either.

You can search the dozens of threads on this already and check eBay pricing.

It's not going to go for $500. 300 max.

First off, I wouldnt use ebay...too much of a hassle. Craigslist all the way as long as your smart. Meet someone local, in a public place, and only take cash and you should be good.

For an 8gg-16gb 3G, expect around 200-225, up to 300 for a 3Gs
