Selling iPhone 6 plus

I usually buy every other iPhone on released date and sell my old iPhone for a profit.

This fall was thinking about buying out my iPhone 6 plus contract and selling my 6 plus 128gb to cover the Verizon buyout cost and buy a contract free 6s plus. I would then sell the 6s plus with every release. Would I make enough money from the sale of the old phone to buy a new one?

Does this make sense?

don't think so. why would someone pay the price of a new phone for a used one? not unless you sell a 128gb and buy like a 64gb or a 16gb the next time around. but then if you do that, when you end up with a 16gb, i don't know who would pay more than lets say $600 for a used phone when they can buy a new one for $50 more.
