I am planning on selling my iphone 7+ soon and was wondering what people's thoughts are on fixing a cracked screen before selling.

I have a small crack at the very top right of the screen, top left and bottom left. only the top right crack is over the actualy display and only runs across the wifi icon. Will this hinder selling on ebay?

Yes, cracked screens dramatically reduce the resell value of all phones. You can get this fixed for £60-80 or less if you know someone, definitely worth it for a 7 Plus you will make that back and more on eBay.

Sell the phone before the new ones are announced if you can as well. Use a temp phone between the sale and the new iPhone. eBay prices drop dramatically directly after a new model is announced but even now when the keynote is around the corner, the prices are about the same as they were a couple months back.

If you get it repaired I recommend doing so at an Apple Store. I tried a local repair center and they installed an inferior display.

I personally would repair it, not just because of the resale value, but because your probability of someone being interested having a cracked screen is far less then someone being interested in a device that has a brand new screen.

...seriously?

May I ask, would you pay the same amount for an iPhone with a cracked screen as you would for one with a pristine one?
