Where is best place to sell my iPhone 16 pro max 256 before 17 delivery. I’ll assume Apple doesn’t want it like last year!!

Fb marketplace. I’ve had bad experience selling high dollar items on eBay.

Edit. I buy high value items on eBay including my current unlock iPhone 16. But their buyer protection is really strong and I got scammed out of a MacBook Pro I was selling years ago and got no help from eBay.

FB Marketplace is also typically mine. Although, I rarely sell high-value — or while they still have high value, that is — items. For most of my electronics, I keep them so long that it’s typically only worthwhile to donate or recycle.

eBay… I’ve had some reconsiderations but the fees and it’s definitely still possible to be scammed, as a seller or a buyer.

More recently, I’ve been considering and using the (other) buyback, trade-in, whatever you want to call them sites, though not yet for Apple products. I’ve become very exhausted of people lowballing, especially last minute, when you meetup. There’s also risk (e.g., robbery).

There’s also, as mentioned here:

Another mentioned around the forum:
At the moment, they appear to offer up to $761 for your iPhone model.

I’ve had a couple of very satisfied purchases from:
However, I’ve never sold/traded an item to them.

FB Marketplace is great for no fees and in person. Swappa is good but fees aren’t cheap.

Swappa... More trustworthy to me (but the other user is right). Their fees are too high.
Just looked at Swappa - around 10% cost while eBay is around 13% (since 1999 seller).

Since I am brand new with no reviews on Swappa, would I still be competitive as those with hundreds of positive reviews ?

Yes, so long as you're pricing reasonably. Post it for a couple bucks cheaper than the lowest reasonable listing and it should sell no problem.

Yeah, Trade In would be easier, but Apple doesn't take storage into account. So, their $700 doesn't sound as good as $800-$850 for my iPhone 16 Pro Max 1TB Space Black.
If I get that much... Anyone have any experience with https://www.itsworthmore.com
