Selling iPhone around Christmas?

The iPhone 2g is around $300-$400 on eBay right now. Don't know about the 3g.

Do you think it's going to go up on Christmas? I'm planning on selling mine to make some profit.
 
I doubt the price will go up but prices are around £200 though which is a lot for a used phone.
