I plan on selling my iPhone to a friend once I get my 3g iPhone. He currently has AT&T, so what would be the best way to make sure my number is off of there and his is put on? Also, if it matters, my iPhone is jailbroken.

Take out the sim card.

take your sim out and do an itunes restore so that you get all of your stuff off of it. Then give it to him and tell him to go to at&t and pick up a sim card. Then he needs to put the new sim in plug it into itunes and it will walk him through activating it and he should be good to go! hope this helped

Thats exactly what I needed to know, thanks. But he already has a sim card, so will that work also?
