I'm selling my iPod touch. I know I have to tap "Erase all Content and Settings" in order for it to get rid of all the info and stuff on my iPod. Do I have to do anything before tapping "Erase all Content and Settings"? And what about after it has finished erasing all info from my iPod, does it means it's all set and I'll be able to sell it and the new owner will not be able to access any of the information I had on it when he or she hooks it up to their computer?

I tried to google some info about it but I couldn't find specific answers to my questions...

okay i found my answer on the Apple site:

I just connected my iPod to my computer, opened iTunes and clicked Restore. It then asked if I wanted to restore my settings and instead of continuing I disconnected my iPod which means when the new owner gets it they won't be able to restore my information. Right?

Hope I did this right b/c I have to ship it out in a couple of days.

Just restore it. The new owner will have to restore it most likely (if I'm not mistaken).
