Selling iPod touch, need to know about restoring/deauthorizing

Hi, I am selling my iPod touch in a few days to someone, and I need to know if I have to restore it and/or deauthorize my computer from iTunes so that the buyer can use it, and so they cannot access my iTunes account on the iPod.

Also, are there any other things I should know about selling it? Certain ways to restore/reset everything?
