I did look for a forum to post this in, but didn't find one. I am going to be listing my late 2012 MBP 13", 2.9 GHz i7 dual core, 512 GB SSD, 8GB RAM on craigs list and ebay. Has Lion, but free upgrade to Mavericks.

The machine is in pristine "politely used" condition. I was thinking about listing it at $1500. (Brand new configuration current model equivilent'ish is $2000).

So two questions,
is the price right?

is eBay something I should not do?

Thanks

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), and Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc. You can also check the Apple refurbished store to see what similar models are selling for.
