Selling Mac, AppleCare questions.

Hello.

I'm selling a Mac Mini, 2010 model. I bought AppleCare with it, but didn't register it. The Mac is less than a year old, so my question is can the new owner simply register the Mac and then the AppleCare and it will all be under his name? Is that legit?

Yes, he can register it and the AppleCare under his name. However, I would sell the AppleCare separately if you want to get more money, or at least ask the buyer to pay a good extra because of the unopened AppleCare
